David Banuelos, 28

David Banuelos, a 28-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Saturday, May 28, in the 4500 block of Santa Monica Boulevard in East Hollywood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Banuelos had been engaged in a verbal dispute with a person before he was shot several times about 1:25 a.m. outside a club, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Sara Faden.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Coroner's records show Banuelos was shot in the torso.

A male bystander was shot in the leg and is listed in stable condition. No suspects were taken into custody.
