Davion Deshoun Washington, 38

Davion Deshoun Washington, a 38-year-old black man, was shot and killed Thursday, Aug. 27 in the 2100 block of West Century Boulevard in Gramercy Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly after 6 p.m., a group of people that included Washington were hanging out in the narrow courtyard of an apartment complex when two black men walked up and fired multiple shots striking three people, said LAPD Det. Dave Garrido.

The gunmen then ran to a light-colored sedan and fled east on West Century Boulevard.  

Washington was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 6:59 p.m.  Two others, a 33-year-old man and a 29-year-old man, were also wounded, but they are expected to survive.
