It has been almost 10 years since your mother called me in the wee hours of the morning. I still remember her screams. "Jeannie, she screamed, they killed my baby." "Martha, who, I said." Boona, she answered. O' God, she screamed, O' God, my baby, my baby. My heart stopped for a moment. It seemed as if all the life was sucked out of me at that very moment. To hear my sister scream like that was devastating. It broke my heart. But I can only imagine the devastation she felt. Her first born had been killed. His life taken away in an instant. From what we understand, or was told, he was driving home through Green Meadows and was deliberately ambushed. Gun shots sprayed his car and he was hit multiple times. He must have died instantly because we were told his car crashed into a light pole. Witnesses says he was already deceased when they went to the vehicle to help him.

This was yet another senseless unsolved crime. It's funny how we get so upset when another race commit a crime against us, but when we kill each other, it's honored and okay.
