Deborah Lepper, 54

Deborah Lynn Lepper, a 54-year-old white woman, was mortally wounded as she drove east on the San Bernardino Freeway in Pomona about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 12.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Lepper's Chrysler Sebring crashed into the sound wall  west of White Avenue after she was shot once in the head. Paramedics took her to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead the next day at 12:30 a.m.
