Dejuan Henry Bell, 36

Dejuan Henry Bell, a 36-year-old black man, was shot and killed Friday, Aug. 28, in the 100 block of East 83rd Street in Florence, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly after 10 a.m., Bell was outside a liquor store when he was shot multiple times, said LAPD Det. Dave Garrido.

The shooter fled on foot in an unknown direction, he said.

Bell was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:25 a.m., according to coroner’s records. Detectives are looking for witnesses to the shooting.
