Desley Gray, 34
Desley Gray, a 34-year-old black man, died Saturday, Aug. 11, several months after being shot in the 10000 block of South Figueroa Street in Vermont Vista, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner’s office, said Gray was shot April 29. The victim was standing in front of a car dealership when an unknown assailant came from behind and shot him in the head.
Gray was taken to the hospital where he slipped into a vegetative coma.
