Eduardo Cristian Lazaro, 21

Eduardo Lazaro, a 21-year-old Latino, was stabbed to death Monday, Oct. 31, in the 1300 block of East Florence Avenue in Florence-Firestone, according to L.A. County sheriff’s homicide officials.

Lazaro was pronounced dead at the scene after authorities responded to a 911 call at 1:09 a.m. Sgt. B. Cotter said a family gathering, held at a rental hall, took place before Lazaro was killed outside.

According to coroner’s records, Lazaro died from multiple stab wounds. No arrests have been made, and investigators do not know if his death was gang-related.

An earlier report said that an unidentified victim was shot and pronounced dead at the scene.
