Eduardo Vargas, a 22-year-old Latino, died Sunday, Aug. 7, after being stabbed in the 16100 block of Garo Street in Hacienda Heights, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Vargas was at a party when an argument began in the front yard.
At some point, Vargas was stabbed, Winter said. The victim was taken to County-USC Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 7:01 p.m.
Winter had no other details about the case.
