Elliott Marcell Smith, 27
Elliott Smith, a 27-year-old black man, was shot and killed Monday, Aug. 1, in the 11400 block of Link Avenue in Broadway-Manchester, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Smith was shot about 10:30 p.m.
He was taken by paramedics to Harbor UCLA Medical Center, where he died 15 minutes later, Winter said.
According to coroner's records, Smith died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
