Emma Barker, 1 [Updated]
Emma Barker, a 1-year-old white girl, died Thursday, March 19, according to the Los Angeles County coroner.
Her mother reported that Emma had choked on a plastic bag, according to coroner's records. The coroner listed the death as a homicide, noting that the mother provided inconsistent statements and "abandoned the body in a field."
No address was given for this homicide.
