Enrique Ponce, a 23-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Sunday, Oct. 23, near Avenue 51 and Marmion Way in Highland Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Ponce was the victim of a walk-up shooting.
He was shot about 12:30 a.m. and was taken to a hospital, where he died at 1:14 p.m.
The coroner's office had no other information about the case
