Erick Alonso Gutierrez, 18

Erick Gutierrez, identified by the coroner's office as an 18-year-old white man, was stabbed and killed Saturday, Oct. 6, near Irvine Avenue and Strathern Street in Sun Valley, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Los Angeles Police found Gutierrez and another man stabbed about 12:15 a.m. Gutierrez was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, where he was pronounced dead at 12:50 a.m.

Coroner's records show he died from to stab wounds to his abdomen, shoulder, elbow and head.

The second victim suffered a stab wound to his cheekbone and was transported to Pacifica Hospital of the Valley in Sun Valley, where he was treated and released.
