Fontaine Collins, 90
Fontaine Collins, a 90-year-old black man, was killed Saturday, Nov. 17, in the 500 block of West 92nd Street in Vermont Vista, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Collins' niece discovered him seated inside his one-bedroom apartment, slumped over in front of his television.
Preliminary coroner's records show Collins suffered blunt force trauma to his head, as well as a stab wound to the chest.
No other details were immediately available about the slaying.
