Francisco Revolorio (2015-08-25)

Francisco Revolorio, a 46-year-old Latino, was shot and killed in Tuesday, Aug. 25, in the 3600 block of Magnolia Avenue in Lynwood, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies were called to the scene about 9 p.m. after receiving a call about a man who was shot, Lt. Dave Coleman said.

Revolorio had been outside walking in his neighborhood about two doors down from his house when he was shot, Coleman said.

Witnesses reported seeing two black men running away from the scene on foot, but no one actually saw the shooting, he said. "We had ear witnesses but no eye witnesses," he said.

Revolorio was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 9:35 p.m., according to coroner’s records.

"We don't have much to go on," Coleman said. "This was a 46-year-old working guy out for a walk. His family was just across the street."

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500. Those wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
