Frankie Sanchez, a 33-year-old Latino female, died Monday, March 1, after being shot near Under North Vermont Avenue adjacent to 101 Freeway in East Hollywood, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

It is heartbreaking to lose a loved one. It makes it even harder to cope with when you have your own family members making such nasty comments (exception of Abel) and even worse, posting them for the world to see.

Honest to God I don’t understand why anyone would make comments as if my sister in law wasn’t a part of Frankie’s life? She has ALWAYS been there for all her kids. Some of us actually kept in touch with Frankie even after she moved away. FYI Frankie was transgender, and none of us had an issue with that. So, for anyone to try and make it sound like the family had issues with it, please stop. Have some manners, some dignity, and most of all some respect.

And if you really cared about Frankie, show some respect and stop posting nasty comments that make no sense.

I love you and sorry I wasn’t there for you. “Pancho” (Frankie) my cousin, was a strong and outgoing personality. My aunt grace also commented on this post.
I do not know any information on how or why he was murdered, further more did not find out til a couple days ago. This saddens me deeply that I had to find out this way, but at least it gives me a chance to express my love for my cousin. Yes he was gay but that was not who he was, he was very talented in music, drawing, and a great influence for me growing up. He used to rap and was very proud of his music. Also I remember playing video games and talking for hours at his house when we were kids. He moved away when I was in my teens, but before he left he made a large impression on me.Taught me to be proud of who I am And myself, even if people didn’t agree with it. Also to be strong when situations are not going the way you want. He was able to show and teach me this without words. just by actions. He would walk into a room and be the center of attention. Missed him when he left, when I was a teen. Miss him even more now..... may you Rest In Peace and god be with you. I know he is taking care of you.. I love you
