Gilbert Miranda, 47
Gilbert Miranda, a 47-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, July 20, in the 900 block of North Garey Avenue in Pomona, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Police received a call of shots fired at the Pomona Auto Lodge shortly before 1 a.m. and found Miranda on the ground with a gunshot wound. Miranda, who was shot in the chest, was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:09 a.m., according to coroner’s records.
