Gregory Allen Griffin, a 24-year-old black male, died Monday, March 10, after being shot in West Adams, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Good morning I am Gregory Griffin's mother. I had no idea about this site nor post. My son was not a gang member. Actually he was suppose to start his career and training with Metro Bust Lines for Los Angeles county. My son's last words were "Mama now I'm about to buy me a house, a truck and give you some grandbabies". Thankful that the suspect Anthony Sanders was apprehended a few hours after he murdered my son. Unfortunately my son did not have the opportunity to meet and greet his son, Mekhi, who is now 6 years old. Gregory was very outgoing, never a problem child. Greg was very family oriented and loved being the man of our household. Greg has three siblings, Tyshawnna, Barry and Thereca. Lord knows that his brother Barry looked up to him and I'm thankful that Barry is following his brother's footsteps in life today. Missing you son to thee max. Rest In Paradise my son.

Well I knew Greg since I was 13 & he was 1. He was once my sweet heart but when God called him we were still very close friends. He was a very laid back person with a good spirit & very sweet. When I called his phone one day & his mom answered & told me what happened, I started to cry. I know it triggered her pain & I felt bad. If I'm messed up I can only imagine how she feels. It's sad that he had to go so soon but God had a plan for him so I won't dwell on the pain and heartache. I'll keep him and his famiy in my prayers along with his murderer(s) & their family because when God gets to work, everyone will get their day. I love you Greg & you're with my forever, you can check my R.I.P tattoo. I miss you Dubble always & forever 112% from you to me.
