A story for every victim

Gregory Vance Troulman, 63

Gregory Troulman, a 63-year-old white man, was pronounced dead Sunday, July 2, after his body was found on 70th Street East, south of East Avenue M in Palmdale, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

After responding to a medical rescue call at 1:33 a.m., sheriff’s deputies found Troulman lying in the road, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Lt. Rodney Moore said.

Troulman was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:48 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

He lived in Littlerock, about 13 miles south of where his body was found, Moore said. The area where he was found “was pretty desolate,” the lieutenant said. “We don’t know if he was walking or somebody shot him and put his body there.”

Troulman wasn’t carrying identification, so it took investigators a few days to discover who he was, Moore said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500. Those wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
