Guy Richards, a 50-year-old white man, died Saturday, April 10, in the 13300 block of South Hawthorne Boulevard in Hawthorne, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said a determination of Richards' cause of death had not been made because the autopsy is not completed.
At the time of his death, coroner's records indicate Richards was a patient at Los Angeles Metro Medical Center's Hawthorne Facility where he had been admitted April 4th for psychological reasons. On April 10, Richards was involved in some sort of incident after which he became unresponsive and died, Winter said.
The coroner's office had no other details about the death.
