Hector Carrillo-Garcia, a 35-year-old Latino, died of a traumatic brain injury on Thursday, March 19, 2009, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
He sustained the injuries at East Vernon Avenue and Staunton Street in Historic South-Central, according to the coroner.
