Hector Rene Chacon, a 44-year-old Latino, died Saturday, July 6, two days after he was wounded in the 3400 block of Floral Drive in East Los Angeles, according to L.A. County coroner’s records.
Chacon was walking with his daughter around 10 p.m. when he was shot in the neck and then taken to a hospital, according to coroner’s records.
He died at the hospital at 6:15 p.m. July 6.
