Hugo Ernesto Zuniga, 35
Hugo Ernesto Zuniga, a 35-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Wednesday, Sept. 16, in the 2000 block of East 105th Street in Watts, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.
About 7:10 p.m., Zuniga was walking east on East 105th Street when a vehicle drove by and a person inside shot him, said Los Angeles Police Det. Nathan Kouri. The shooter did not get out of the vehicle.
Zuniga was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:57 p.m., according to coroner's records.
Zuniga did not live in the area. It was unclear where he was walking.
