Alvina Jimenez, 31

Alvina Jimenez, a 31-year-old Latina, was found dead Saturday, Sept. 3, in the 8200 block of Telegraph Road in Downey, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Jimenez's nude, decomposed body was found in her boyfriend's apartment about 10:14 p.m.

Coroner's records show Jimenez suffered blunt and sharp force injuries to her body.

The boyfriend is currently missing, Winter said, and he is considered a suspect.

I was unpacking came across her photos from high school. We were all close for a period of time then things change as people get older... Decided to google her and if it really is punker Alvina from South Gate high; I am in complete shock. Her hahaha laughter and energy was sweet. I'm still crying. I remember running into her at target years back. It seemed she was happy to see me and I was too. I had to run and that's the last memory I have of her. Regardless of Gossip it is truly Sickening, sad and ignorant to post such personal info weather fact or fiction. A beautiful soul was taken to soon. This was an act of evil and therefore my prayers are in her name and the rest of those suffering souls who are taken in such violent ways. I use to always love to make you and S. Laugh! I am speechless and too late.
