Javier Amaro, identified by the coroner's office as a 45-year-old white man, was fatally shot Friday, Oct. 12, in the 5200 block of Santa Monica Boulevard in East Hollywood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Authorities say Amaro was shot following an argument about 10:30 p.m.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
No other details were immediately available about the killing.
