Jeremy Joel Marquis Davis, a 29-year-old black man, was shot and killed Sunday, March 23, near West 132nd Street and Broadway in Willowbrook, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

A motorcycle club in the area was hosting a large party where Davis and two others were shot about 1:50 a.m., said Lt. Dave Dolson with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Davis was pronounced dead at 2:05 a.m. at the scene, according to coroner’s records. The other two who were wounded are expected to survive.

An autopsy showed that Davis died of a gunshot wound to the chest.

God has called you to his kingdom to watch over your loved ones from high..He knows that you alone did not want to see all evildoers prosper. & through God your Big Mamma asked to have you home. you could not carry all the burdens that was handed to you. God called his child home so you wouldn't have to seek for revenge. God had to remove his King from all evil. every friend around you didn't want you to succeed, but knew of all your good deeds. I ask God to show us a sign that those by standers be punished in every way there is. & May they rot in the pit of fire. I ask God to keep your sisters and brothers eyes open and to use the gift God gave them. I ask him to humble them, to have all curses broken that has been brought against them. for you and Big mama to strengthen them where they are weak. To take all the envy ,selfishness, immorality and deceiving ways casted on them & rebuke the devil in the name of Jesus Christ. To have mercy on our souls to protect us and to keep us with you always. For we shall sing in unison that our King Jeremy Davis has made it and claimed victory.
