Jesus Duran, 33

Jesus Duran, a 33-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Thursday, Oct. 11, in the 11700 block of the Runnymede Street in Sun Valley, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Police say they arrived at the scene and discovered evidence of a shooting, but no victim.

They later learned Duran had already been taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:42 p.m.

Homicide detectives have yet to identify a suspect or motive for the shooting.
