Jesus Pimental, 22
Jesus Pimental, a 22-year-old Latino, died on Sunday, Oct. 25, after he was stabbed in the 1000 block of Maine Avenue in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Long Beach police officers were called about 7:45 p.m. and found Pimental lying on the sidewalk with a stab wound in his torso, according to a department news release.
Pimental was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead at 8:16 p.m.
Investigators had no suspect information, but they don't believe the stabbing was gang-related, according to the news release. Coroner's records reported that Pimental had been involved in an altercation before the stabbing.
The stabbing occurred in a residential area next to Drake Park.
