Jimmy Daniel Orozco, a 29-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Wednesday, April 22, in the 1000 block of East Mission Boulevard in Pomona, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.
About 1:30 a.m., Pomona Police received a call about shots fired in the area, according to a brief police statement.
A short time later, Orozco was dropped off at a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:53 a.m.
Coroner's records show he died from a gunshot wound to the back.
