Joel Perez, 51

Joel Cruz Perez, 50, a Latino man, was killed with Norma Lorena Rodriguez, 48, in the double homicide at about 4:30 p.m. at 415 W. Manchester Blvd. in Inglewood on Wednesday, Sept. 26, said Det. Loyd Waters of the Inglewood Police Department. Both were stabbing victims.

Police responded to a call of a robbery in progress at this insurance office and found the two victims. The suspects are three black men or youths. They are believed to have stolen the victims' cars. Detectives are seeking any information. Tips from the public already helped police find one of the cars, a 2006 blue BMW. The other is a champagne-colored 2000 Ford Explorer, license place 4LXE391, pictured below. Inglewood investigators are at (310) 412-5246.

Update: This case has been partially cleared. Two suspects, a 26-year-old Latino man and a 16-year-old Latino youth, are in custody. A third suspect, a 24-year-old Pacific Islander, is at large.
