Christian Montoya, 24

Christian Montoya, a 24-year-old Latino, died Thursday, April 14, less than an hour after he was found shot in the 5100 block of 106th Street in Lennox, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

[Editor's note: An earlier version of this post, based on information from the coroner's office, gave the victim's name only as John Doe #40.]

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Montoya was discovered shot on April 13 about 11:27 p.m.

He was taken by paramedics to Centinela Hospital Medical Center in Inglewood where he died less than forty minutes later.

Winter had no other information about the incident.
