Joshua Devonte Thomas
John Doe #45, a 23-year-old black man, was found dead Wednesday, March 28, in the 6800 block of Sierra Highway in Acton, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Doe's body was discovered just before 7 a.m. in a dumpster, according to the Sheriff's Department.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said an autopsy was still pending. Preliminary records show Doe suffered unknown trauma and thermal burns.
Detectives did not have any more information about how or when the man died.
