Jose Ignacio Corona, 36
Jose Ignacio Corona, a 36-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Friday, Nov. 9, near Wright Road and Imperial Highway in South Gate, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
The shooting occurred about 2:10 p.m., said Deputy Kim Manatt of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau.
After Corona was shot, he was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Preliminary coroner's records show Corona was the victim of a drive-by shooting.
No other details were immediately available.
