Jose Jijon Hidalgo, 23
Jose Jijon Hidalgo, a 23-year-old Latino, was pronounced dead Saturday, April 28, in the 1100 block of East 67th Street in Florence-Firestone, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Hidalgo was found dead in a residence at midnight.
According to coroner's records, the victim’s body suffered several knife wounds. Additionally, he was strangled.
At this time, investigators do not know when the assault occurred.
