Joseph Collins Jr., a 66-year-old black man, died Friday, Nov. 14, according to the Los Angeles County coroner.
Coroner's records said that Collins suffered from severe multiple infections and was a paraplegic due to previous gunshot wounds.
His death was listed as a homicide. No address was given by the coroner.
