Jovoni Dazhon Thomas, 27
Jovoni Thomas, a 27-year-old black man, was shot and killed Friday, June 22, in the 6300 block of Brynhurst Avenue in Hyde Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Police said the shooting took place about 11:35 p.m.
Thomas and Stephen Johnson, a 21-year-old black man, were in front of a house when two men walked up and one opened fire, police said.
Thomas died at the scene; Johnson was taken to a hospital, where he died the next day.
No arrests have been made in the incident, police said.
