Juan Carlos Quinones, 28

Juan Carlos Quinones, a 28-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Wednesday, April 13, in the 2100 block of East 105th Street in Watts, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly before 6:30 p.m., Quinones was walking in the street when a vehicle drove by and a person inside fired multiple rounds, said Los Angeles police Det. Dave Garrido.

The vehicle then continued traveling east on East 105th Street.

Quinones was struck and taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:38 p.m., according to coroner’s records.

Police are looking for additional witnesses.
