Juan Morales, 18, a young Latino man, was struck by bullets multiple times at Hartland Street and Woodman Avenue in Valley Glen and died at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 6.

Morales was standing with his younger brother about 5:30 p.m. when a white sport-utility vehicle pulled up, police said. The people inside yelled gang names and then one fired a gun, hitting Morales, who was taken to a local hospital and died in surgery there.

The next day, Van Nuys detectives arrested four people in Palmdale in connection to the killing and seized from them a gun, casings, a car stolen in LAPD's Rampart Division and other stolen property.

Two of those arrested are underage Latino boys. The other two are Latino men: Elder Robles, 18, and Alvaro Guerra, 23. All those arrested face adult murder charges, police said.

I'm very sorry for what happen to your cousin because I also lost my brother and I know what your family is going through but that day my boyfriend was at the bank making a payment for his truck I remember when trial started juans little brother was asked to point out who he had seen that day in the truck were juan was shot from from the 4 males under custoday which was elder robles, the two under age boys alvaro guerra which is my boyfriend juans little brother said he had seen the other three but not my boyfriend because the guy who was driving was brown skin and had facial hair my boyfriend is light skin and didn't have facial hair around that time.... look I know juans ex girl told your family one thing but behind your family back she was another she even said she didn't care if these guys had really killed juan but she just wanted to get back at her babydaddy and the only way was involving his best homies .... when my man got his first appeal he got 10 years taken off his sentence why because he wasn't in the gang file he had never been to jail he had a clean record we all know when a person files for their first appeal they get rejected if my man was guilty why didn't they reject his appeal? It makes me sad that his public defender didn't do her job my getting him out of jail and proving to your family that he didn't have anything to do with your cousins murder but I know god knows he is innocent and one day justice will be made once again I'm really sorry for your lost because I'm going through the same pain but please tell your tia It wasn't my boyfriend maybe he will never get out because we are to poor and can't afford a paid lawyer but it will make me feel so much better if your tia knew the truth that my boyfriend didn't have nothing to do with juans murder... take care and god bless you..!
