Juan Pablo Santiago, 34

Juan Pablo Santiago, a 34-year-old Latino, was fatally stabbed Thursday, Aug. 1, in the 1100 block of East 12th Street in Long Beach, according to L.A. County coroner’s records.

Police responded to an “unknown trouble” call at 10:10 p.m. and found that Santiago had been in an argument with two acquaintances, according to a news release from the Long Beach Police Department.

The argument escalated into a fight and Santiago was stabbed multiple times in the torso with an unknown object, according to the release.

Santiago was pronounced dead by the Long Beach Fire Department paramedics at 10:25 p.m. at the scene, according to coroner’s records.

Police are looking for the two people involved in the argument.
