Kalease Kenyon Harris, 15
Kalease Kenyon Harris, a 15-year-old black teenager, was shot and killed Thursday, Jan. 29, near Avalon Boulevard and East 105th Street in Green Meadows, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 5 p.m., Harris was walking north on Avalon Boulevard with four other people when they were fired upon by people in a Lexus, said LAPD Det. Dave Garrido.
Harris was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 5:42 p.m., said Ed Winter, assistant chief of investigations for the coroner’s office.
No one else was injured in the shooting, Garrido said.
