Kenneth Lee Bly, 52

Kenneth Lee Bly, a 52-year-old black man, was fatally shot Monday, Aug. 6, in the 1300 block of West Florence Avenue in Vermont-Slauson, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Bly was standing outside a liquor store when someone walked up and opened fire. Bly was hit several times.

He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead, Officer Karen Rayner said.

Police believe the attack may have been drug-related.
