It's 12:00am as I'm writing this and can't sleep. Just like I couldn't that night. I always think about it from time to time. Party was 2 houses down. Music was loud, people hanging out all over the street. I was 14, looked like fun. I lay back down for a sec and just hear, pop pop pop pop pop, quick.
I was just 'wtf'
Look out and I really remember was him lying there, and a lady holding him crying.
Shit got nuts. People screaming, dudes running down the street, cars racing off, 'Get that n....!'
Alot of blood. All over the clothes. Never really seen shit like that before.

They moved out right after that.
I always look back to that and just think, 'that was really fucked up'. Guy didn't give a fuck. And how the life of that family took a hard ass left.
May 7 2006. A date I had to research to remember but for that family will be burned in their memory.
Heart was heavy today. And where ever that family is right now, I hope they are finding a little bit of light in every passing day.
