A story for every victim

King Eldridge King, 43

King King, a 43-year-old black man, was stabbed to death Wednesday, Sept. 21, in the 900 block of East Washington Boulevard in Pasadena, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

The victim was found dead about 12:45 a.m. in a parking lot behind his barbershop. Police say the crime occurred Tuesday evening when King closed his shop.

Davon Westley Moore, a 22-year-old black man, and Sabrina Octavia King, an 18-year-old black woman, were arrested the same day of the killing and are facing capital murder charges. Octavia King is not related to the victim.

The pair are being held without bail and are scheduled to appear at the Pasadena Superior Court on Oct. 7.

Moore, of Los Angeles, and King, of Compton, face special circumstances of murder during commission of a robbery and burglary, making each eligible for the death penalty. Prosecutors will decide later whether they will seek the death penalty for the defendants.

Anyone with additional information about the death of King King is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
