Larry Webb Buckner, 33

Larry Buckner, a 33-year-old black man, died Friday, Oct. 21, four days after he was found shot near West 126th Street and Berendo Avenue in Athens, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Buckner was discovered shot in a car on Oct. 17.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he remained until his death on Oct. 21 at 8:50 a.m.

Buckner's autopsy is pending, Winter said. The coroner's office had no other information about the case.
