Larry Villela, 28
Larry Villela, a 28-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Friday, Feb. 6, in the 6000 block of King Avenue in Maywood, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Shortly after 3 p.m., people in the area heard gunshots and found Villela on a small strip of grass outside a home, said L.A. County Sheriff's Lt. Dave Coleman.
Villela was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:42 p.m., according to coroner’s records.
