Larue Marland Floyd, 32

Larue Marland Floyd, a 32-year-old black man, was shot and killed Monday, Aug. 15, in the 900 block of E. 67th Street in Inglewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

About 9:45 p.m., officers from the Inglewood Police Department responded to a call about a shooting, according to a news release.

When officers arrived, they found Floyd with "at least one" gunshot wound, police said.

According to coroner's records, Floyd was sitting in a car when a vehicle approached and a person inside shot at him. Floyd then hit a parked car.

Floyd was pronounced dead at the scene.
