Lathurman Williams, 39

Lathurman Williams, a 39-year-old black man, was shot and killed Friday, Nov. 1, near St. Andrew’s Place and West 84th Street in Manchester Square, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records.

Shortly before 10 p.m., Williams and another person were sitting in a black Buick parked along South St. Andrews Place facing north when two people walked up, said Los Angeles Police Det. David Dilkes.

One of the men asked Williams, “Where you from?” and shot at him numerous times, Dilkes said.

The other person in the Buick began driving away to call 911. The assailants ran, police said.

Williams was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:08 p.m., according to coroner’s records.

According to an online fundraiser, Williams was a father of four and known as BoBo.
