Lionel Douglas, 36

Lionel Douglas, a 36-year-old black man, was fatally wounded on Saturday, June 1, in the 6400 block of Bonsallo Avenue in Vermont-Slauson, according to the L.A. County coroner’s office.

Douglas was riding his bike, when a person driving a light-colored SUV pulled up and shot him, said LAPD Det. Chris Barling of the 77th Street Division.

He died at 5:44 p.m., coroner’s records show.
