Man pleads not guilty in Venice stabbing death
Jorge Nolasco pleaded not guilty in the stabbing death of Guillermo Carmona-Perez, a 24-year-old restaurant worker, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
Nolasco, 23, has been charged with one count of murder, according to a news release.
Carmona-Perez was found critically wounded on Nov. 18, 2013, near the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Pacific Avenue, in Venice.
The defendant is being held on $1 million bail and is expected in court Feb. 25 for a preliminary hearing.
