Manuel Ernesto Campos, 21

Manuel Campos, identified by the coroner's office as a 21-year-old white man, was fatally shot Saturday, Jan. 21, in the 1600 block of West 5th Street in Westlake, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Investigators said Santos Navor-Flores began arguing with Campos and a group of Campos’ friends after he found them drinking in front of his home about 12:25 a.m.

Navor-Flores allegedly fired multiple shots at Campos, one of which struck him in the head. He died at the scene a short time later.

Navor-Flores fled the scene after the shooting. Officials described his assailant as a Latino, who is 5 feet 7 and weighs 170 pounds. His age was not given.

LAPD officials said the incident was not gang-related.
