Marcus Jason Fleming, 31

Marcus Fleming, a 31-year-old black man, was shot and killed Sunday, April 3, in the 1200 block of West 39th Street in Exposition Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

About 2:40 a.m., Fleming was driving a silver Lexus and parked his car, said Los Angeles police Det. Dave Garrido. As Fleming was getting out of his car, a red four-door sedan drove past and a person inside fired multiple gunshots.

Fleming was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:06 p.m.
